When the Morning Star Charitable Trust ventured into this area on humanitarian grounds in 1999 one of the villagers, Mrs. Babai Jabbaji Bachkar had donated us a plot of land measuring 03 acres to develop the infrastructure. The total area of three independent villages (Grampanchayaths) of Vavarath, Jambhali and Jambulban are inhabited by the people of nomadic shepherds of Dhankar Tribe and tribal Thakkars who are illiterate and least interested in the education of their wards, especially the girls. Moreover the people live in different small hamlets of 40 to 80 households 4 to 8 kilometers away from the village place. Hence the parents hesitate to send their kids to school fearing the attack of the wild animals. So it was suggested to start the school with boarding facility for the students. The Morning Star Charitable Trust accepted the suggestion and opened a free boarding for the tribal students attached to the school, both for boys and girls. Now more than 124 students are using this facility. The same classrooms are used as dormitory at night. Accommodation, food, school stationary, school uniforms, dress and necessary medicines are freely provided to the boarders.
