The dedicated team at the Morning Star Charitable Trust has made a long-standing commitment to the people and land of Vavarath. It is due to the sincere effort put in by all the members that the trust has been able to undertake various charitable initiatives.
What we do
Key Service Areas
Dayasagar
A new venture which is envisaged to be an Integrated Rehabilitation center for the mentally challenged, street beggars, Street children, and the unwanted wandering aged; with a centralized kitchen & Administrative block.
Free Tuition Center
Our Center provides academic support to children from tribal and weaker families. It focuses on strengthening foundational skills, improving academic performance, and encouraging students to pursue education.
Free Tribal Boarding
The tribal boarding assures safety for students coming from nearby villages; who would otherwise have to discontinue schools due to fear of wild animals. Now more than 124 students including boys and girls, are using this facility.
Women Empowerment
Self Help Groups (SHG) from nearby hamlets and villages come together to interact, save from their incomes, and lend among members. These savings are later used to start income-generating programmes.
Recycling Programme
An Integrated Eco-Friendly Recycling Programme (IERP), which is a systematic, scientific, and viable recycling programme, which includes almost all the interventions of the Trust in this dry and drought prone hilly village.
Drinking Water Project
18 tube wells in different villages and hamlets of Rahuri and Parner Sub-Divisions (Talukas) were installed with hand-operated lift pumps to draw water. It brought much relief to the households of the tribal belt, especially the womenfolk.

The Congregation of the Mission is a society of apostolic life, composed of priests and lay brothers, founded by Saint Vincent de Paul in Paris on April 17, 1625 and approved by Pope Urban VII on January 12, 1633.
